Message from the Secretary General
It is my privilege to welcome you to the second edition of Delhi College of Arts & Commerce Model United Nations Conference 2012. We have all been talking about change and upliftment, but for quite some time we have seen no such occurrences, specially where MUNs are concerned. Today, we see that MUNs are becoming more and more deficit in the areas of knowledge, debating, solving of key issues, and mutual growth and respect; they have lost their purpose and direction. They have been slowly undergoing change over the years, and today they have become unlike their intended character.
We have decided to be that change that you have been waiting for, and thus, we bring to you DMUNC 2012! DMUNC 2012 will not only be the change, it will be a ‘Rebirth of MUNs’ – a Rebirth of the quality of debate and that of a conference, something that has been progressively on a decline in Model United Nations Conferences. Every part of this conference will be reborn to give to you a new and a better experience.
With this, we give to you a new generation of MUNs. This conference will be open to delegates from Undergraduate Courses all over India as well as school students of classes XI and XII.
